Young scientists


We are pleased:

  • to support you in your professional development,
  • to give you the opportunity to both present as well as discuss your scientific achievements and obtain high quality feedback from your colleagues who deal with the same or similar issues,
  • to meet colleagues from different countries and establish new relations,
  • to motivate you in order to write high quality papers.

What advantages can you expect?

  • your conference fee will be lower than the regular fee,
  • your high quality accommodation will be arranged at a lower price,
  • the best three presentations will be awarded:

1st prize: 300,-- EUR
2nd prize: 200,-- EUR
3rd prize: 100,-- EUR

The main emphasis is on high quality papers and presentations (in English only), which will be judged by an international conference committee.

The winners will be announced at the official closing ceremony of the conference on Wednesday at noon.

One of our basic aims is to support all those activities which should lead to sharing of information, knowledge and experience and which might lead also to establishing of new partnerships, preparing of new joint papers or projects, etc. Therefore, there will be some social activities organised particularly for the young scientists, e.g. bowling competition (the best team will be awarded), in order to strengthen or improve their activities in the field of scientific/research networking.

In the competition of young scientists were selected and awarded these three papers:

3rd prize: Valéria SZITÁSIOVÁ (Does the Support Make a Difference? Counterfactual Impact Evaluation of Education Subsidy in Slovakia)
